A really neat bookstore with books to browse outside! I’ve visited twice- visiting the lot outside and seeing everything inside takes some time but there are some really cool books. Most of the books outside were history, politics, and language/arts books but they were all priced at $3 or $5. It also seems like they reprice things regularly to keep cycling new books in. It wasn’t too busy on the weekend, so we could take our time looking. Overall, it’s a great place to visit and browse!

One of the best bookstores I’ve ever been to. They keep repricing the books, making sure things keep moving through there. Lots of interesting finds, everything priced really fairly. And poking through the carts outside is a fun treat.

Even if you have no interest in buying anything there, the rare book section on the top floor is absolutely worth visiting. It’s gorgeous up there.

REALLY cool bookstore! It’s one of the largest/oldest bookstores in the country. There’s a massive selection outside where most books are either $5 or $1. You’ll have to do some looking, but there are some gems in there. Especially if you’re looking for anything about American history. If you go inside, the first floor has a large selection that is organized by category and the upstairs has a very cool rare book selection that’s fun to look through.

I literally will count the days to when I will return to the Brattle Book Shop in Boston. What a wonderful experience. Helpful friendly people. Steps from our hotel. Reminded me so much of what my Dad loved, books and old used book stores and I found a Marjorie Rawlings Creek Book! An author we shared together. Outside shopping on the streets of Boston for $1 $3 $5 books….Yes Please!

For a bibliophile this shop is a little piece of heaven. From the courtyard next door filled with books to the rows to peruse inside, there is much to discover. I have to get on a plane so cannot indulge in buying a lot of books. I had a great time checking out what was on the shelves. Such a diversity. There is a whole section about Massachusetts and Boston specific as well. If you are in the area you should definitely stop in! You can smell the books when you walk in the door?

Incredible experience. The bookshop itself is a piece of art, and collections are great to explore. I even found a bunch of nice books in Persian with low prices. But the most enjoyable part was just to be there and enjoy the ambiance.
