My local cinema so I visit here often when I can’t be asked to go far out for a film. To be honest, sometimes my experience here is a nightmare with how slow the staff is when getting your food and drink orders, however yesterday was the smoothest ordering experience. Didn’t get the man’s name which is so unfortunate but he was kind and efficient and even had a smile on his face which is quite uncommon for this cinema haha (however I get how draining working in a cinema must be so don’t expect the staff to really be cheery especially with the nightmare customers they get sometimes).

The faults of this cinema isn’t really with the staff or place itself it’s just the riffraff that come here. I’ve seen kids/teens fighting in the lobby, people high on drugs breakdancing in the lobby (so odd), kids running amok however that’s much more palatable. You’ll also get people talking so loud, throwing popcorn or have their phone brightness so high in some screenings, however if there ever is an issue with this I always see the staff dealing with it accordingly, asking disruptive people to leave if they’ve been complained about which is great.

I am a cinephile so this isn’t my preferred cinema. I prefer the likes of Price Charles Cinema, BFI and Picturehouse, but since this is my local I often visit with my family and can’t really fault it.

I just wish the place would get updated around the front/box office area. There’s an old box office station that’s unused. An entertainment room that seems completely unused, i’m not sure if they still open it for parties like they used to but i assume not. It’s just a massive lobby, which is fine bc it accommodates large crowds, I guess but i wish Vue would invest and spruce this place up a bit. Especially after our next local cineplex closing down (Showcase Cinema Newham). I feel like this would make everyone’s film experience much more immersive and fun, cinephiles or not. Wish our local cinemas would get a big more love and investment from these chains like Vue and Cineworld. Follow in the footsteps of Picturehouse, Curzon and independent cinemas please!

Friendly staff, got chatting to a worker who had rushed in to try and clean the cinema from previous patrons. Nice enuff nachos etc and a great selection of other snacks etc..
Nice comfy chairs and at my viewing it was empty enuff to sit elsewhere of you wasn't happy.
Great furniture. Great staff. Nice and clean premises.

Dated cinema. Toilets seem like people are constantly destroying the place. Mirrors removed and replaced with signs covering all the walls reminding patrons about how to act in public and that they are seen on CCTV and bodycams. Cinema Room was clean and was able to thoroughly enjoy Deadpool 3.

Terrible, loud grind sound before the adverts. The chairs are in dramatic condition, sticky floor. Definitely not coming back!

Staff were brilliant at the counters , spacious and not crowded , quality screen , and sound and the correct room temperature. Book online VIP seats , we went in screen 1 £7.50 only Fantastic can’t go wrong , local to me gonna start making my Mondays more enjoyable from now on 🙂
